 Most of the women in African society don't have a voice on matters pertaining their own lives , societal decision making matters and community developmental matters . Many women in this area are victims of gender based violence and domestic violence which puts them at a greater risk as most of them suffer in silence because speaking out definitely worsens the situation .This has left many in a devastating situation which has led to many unwanted pregnancies which has resulted to many teenage mothers .We target these vulnerable groups by sensitizing and empowering them to understand their rights and speak up incase of violence occurrence .Who can volunteer Any one above 16years of age who has an interest in charity work and community development Volunteer job Empower women and girls on matters pertaining Gender based violence, Teaching kids in classroom ,Baby sitting ,helping with assignment , doing home visits ,cooking for kids ,washing ,doing outdoor activities with kids, participating in various clubs and societies activities. What to expect .jpg) Adequate security ,orientation ,cultural exchange ,proper skill utilization ,availability of all necessary volunteer resources ,internal and external tour ,Volunteer participation certificate Management The volunteers are accorded qualified and experienced staff who will guide them through the program and ensure that they have a successful and safe stay. Accommodation volunteers can choose to stay at the school -Dormitories or can also choose to have a home stay where couples are given private rooms or suits Accommodation & Food cost we offer three meals a day (with snacks supplement occasionally) we do local (indigenous) and international dishes with our experienced chef and meals are prepared according to the volunteers interest. Volunteers are also given an opportunity to prepare their meals if need be .  Environment From Moi international Airport in Mombasa the volunteers will be received by our volunteer coordinator and oriented more about the program. volunteers will be driven by our qualified driver to the project site with exciting beautiful view of the white sandy coastal beaches . | |
